Making a Difference Through Donations
Financial donations help local charities and projects continue their vital work to prevent and relieve homelessness across the West Midlands. Each contribution supports a part of the West Midlands Combined Authority’s Positive Pathway model, which focuses on helping people move from crisis to stability and independence.
Many organisations are feeling the strain of the rising cost of living. As everyday expenses increase, it becomes harder for supporters to give, yet these same pressures mean that more people are turning to charities for help. Regular or one-off donations, whatever the amount, make a real difference by helping to keep essential services running. Funding enables organisations to provide emergency accommodation, outreach support, training, mentoring, and long-term housing solutions that help people rebuild their lives.
Most of the organisations listed on Street Support Network in the West Midlands are registered charities, and members of the public can donate to support their year-round work.
In addition, some organisations highlight specific funds that need support. Below, you will find details of the projects and initiatives across the West Midlands currently seeking contributions, along with simple ways to give directly.

Across the West Midlands, these projects form a network of care that grows stronger when people choose to stand alongside them. Each donation, whether supporting a pantry, youth project, women’s refuge or community space, helps keep doors open and pathways steady for people facing difficult moments.
Together, these efforts reflect the region’s commitment to prevention by design and the wider Positive Pathway approach, where local compassion and practical support work hand in hand to create lasting change. If you feel able to contribute, your generosity becomes part of that shared effort, helping communities continue to look after one another.
If you are part of an organisation in the West Midlands whose work prevents or relieves homelessness, and you are currently seeking funding, items or volunteers for a specific project or service, we would love to hear from you and include your organisation in our Give Help posts.
