St Francis Community Pop-up Food Store

St Francis Community Pop-up Food Store is a registered charity that provides food basics to help limit the impact of rising food costs upon individuals and families. Their aim is to give ongoing support by offering 'a helping hand with your weekly shop.'

To Join you must complete a membership form on arrival providing proof of address and pay a £10 one-off membership fee. The membership fee gives you a special 'Pop Up' bag, which you bring and fill each time you visit and your first weeks shop.

Each visit after you pay £6 and shop with choice for food worth approximately £20 - £30. Cash and card are accepted.

Refreshments and a seating area are also available so that you can have a rest or a chat with friendly company. Most weeks someone from Citizen's Advice is also available to chat with.

The project is part funded by Feeding Britain and the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and supported by Chelmsford County Council.
